The Importance of Natural Morning Sunlight
Getting natural sunlight in the morning is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to boost your well-being. Exposure to sunlight in the early hours helps regulate your body’s internal clock, also known as the circadian rhythm. This rhythm governs your sleep-wake cycle, energy levels, and even mood throughout the day.
Morning sunlight triggers the production of serotonin, often called the “feel-good” hormone, which helps improve mood, focus, and a sense of calm. It also stimulates the production of vitamin D, essential for bone health and immune function.
By starting your day with natural sunlight, you set yourself up for better sleep, more balanced energy, and a greater sense of mental clarity. Aim for at least 10–15 minutes of sun exposure in the morning to harness these benefits.
